Experienced Tax Professional

We are in search of a dynamic and driven individual to become an integral part of our tax department. Holding a CPA or Enrolled Agent license is advantageous, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax within a public accounting firm being essential. The role demands a dedication to client satisfaction, strong analytical and organizational abilities, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills for engaging with both clients and colleagues.

Successful candidates should also demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to quickly learn new software.

• Strong research skills to identify potential tax issues.

• Competence in gathering client information for tax filing and planning.

• Skill in developing and implementing methods to maximize client benefits and minimize tax liabilities.

• Ability to document significant tax positions accurately.

• Decision-making skills for ordinary tax matters and effective communication with supervising team members.

• Knowledge of tax regulations to address client inquiries and concerns.

• Experience in responding to tax notices and drafting necessary responses.

• Proficiency in preparing tax accruals for corporate tax returns.

• Ability to maintain and use depreciation software for client setup and report analysis.

• Capability to identify book-to-tax differences.

• Strong flexibility, adaptability, and time management skills.

• Prior experience in the construction industry is desirable.

• Multi-state tax experience is preferred.

• Enthusiastic about fostering a positive team culture that promotes enjoyment and exceptional client service.

Experienced Auditor - Telework Possible

We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated professional to join our audit team.  Having obtained a CPA license or being a CPA candidate eligible to sit for the exam along with two or more years of audit experience in a public accounting firm are vital.  We require a commitment to client service, analytical and organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills for corresponding with clients and team members.  Tele-work opportunities may be present for qualified candidates.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• Minimum of one year of auditing experience in public accounting

• CPA license or CPA candidate qualified to sit for the exam

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

• Ability to learn new software quickly

• Must be flexible, adaptable and manage time well

• Ability to supervise two to three others

• Must have the desire to contribute to a culture that encourages team members to flourish and have a lot of fun while giving top-notch client service!

Who we are looking for

While we are looking for good accountants, we are also looking for people who want to build relationships. As an intern, you will do real work with real clients! You will know what it is like to work in a public accounting firm. We become business partners, consultants, and even friends with our clients.

We don’t expect interns to know it all. We expect you to want to learn. You will be given a buddy to show you the ropes. Up front and on-going training will help you navigate the ins and outs of public accounting. You won’t be made to feel like a cog in a machine!
